Working notes:

Just came home from an early morning meeting on Sat. 11/24, and wanted to relax a little with some guit. Started playing through a chord progression that came to me the night before, but never really hashed out lyrics.

I'm not quite sure I've just recalled lyrics from other tunes and melded them into a new chord progression. But, I like the "I only hope to grow up like you". Thats truly what sons want to do, in imitation of their Fathers.

As you can tell - take1 chorus refrain lyrics are a little different that take2. I think I like the lyrics that I came to by the third take. However, after another listen the vox on the medley parts of third recording were a little rougher than they seemed in my head :) I think the best take away from that take was the transition from the medley back to th chorus.

Praise God for a continued stream of new ideas!!
