Since recently beginning to lead larger groups in worship, it has become clear that some older (and soemtimes younger) generations who have grown in the Lord with certain songs, often have desire to continue singing those songs and/or recall past spiritual experiences relevant to those lyrics.

On the one hand, when the Lord directs a large group people in a new direction, so that new generations are energized to join - it's great to dive into new music fueled by that new spark.

On the other hand, sometimes learning a lot of new songs can be challenging, with an older and/or less-familiar perspective in mind. SO here's some examples of medley's that have been tried, in attempts to bridge that gap. A blend of old and new, if you will. This list also includes some alternate structuring (ie. start a song with the chorus vs. start with the verse) of tunes, just to keep each time you gather to worship a little fresh. There is also a new takes with alternate tempo & melodies (spirit of the lord). Enjoy. Share. Try!
