Alive in Christ

Working notes & Inspiration:

I early March, I was on a CIC Men’s Challenge weekend, near Red Wing (southern) MN. It had been a while since I had gone on any sort of conference or retreat, but the Lord really moved in my life to share this.

It’s easy for me to slip into a groove, based on the wonderful gift and talent that the Lord has given me. And that groove is the assumption that because I can play music, lead music, write music, or whatever, its ok to worry little or less about being open to the Lord’s work or change in my own personal life.

I should still take the time to humble myself and join/allow room for the lord to move in my personally.

He hasn’t left me (even in moments of sin); he has forgiven me. He says, here I am. So I want to respond.

Lord Jesus, I desire to live in you and you to be alive in me. Sinner that I am, I know that I cannot do that without your power. I reject sin and satan. I accept (recommit) to you as Lord and Savior. Release in me the full power of your Holy Spirit. With all my heart I say, “Come Holy Spirit, pour out your gifts through me.”
